The company Sunnyboy, also called SMA, is typically known as a “grid tied” inverter, like SolarEdge, that gives excess power back to the grid. As far as I know, all grid tied inverters can’t be used off grid and don’t have “hybrids”. The problem with grid tied inverters historically is that when the power goes out, the inverter also shuts down to prevent “islanding” or feedback of power into the grid which can electrocute a worker working on the power lines.
Sunnyboy however developed a hybrid that lets the inverter continue to work with the solar panels without this feedback or islanding. This product is relatively new and is called the Sunnyboy Smart Energy inverter.
